She is the owner of a salon and she usually has everything under control and organised keeping her on track. But now in the third trimester of an unexpected pregnancy she feels lost and desperate after faulty plumbing causes her apartment to flood meaning that her carefully planned life was slipping through her fingers.
Her knight and shining armour is actually her best friend's Doctor brother, the same infuriating man that she has called out previously for being a jerk. When he offers her a place to stay but there is just one catch. She has to pose as his girlfriend for a few of his upcoming work events.
It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement, just a little bit of harmless pretending. But with every teasing remark and every late night conversation the line between what is real and what is fake starts to blur and as her due date rolls closer she realizes that the biggest decision she has to make isn't where she is going to live but it's who she wants by her side when the baby does arrive.
